Disclaimer
Cost Estimate Disclaimer:
1. General Information Only
The construction estimates, material take-offs, and project budgets provided by Estimate Florida Consulting, LLC (“EFC”) are professional opinions based on provided blueprints and current market averages. They are not guaranteed quotes. Due to the inherent volatility in the construction industry, several factors can cause significant fluctuations in prices, including but not limited to:
Supply Chain Disruptions: Delays and increased costs arising from natural disasters, geopolitical events, and logistical challenges.
Material Cost Fluctuations: Prices of steel, lumber, concrete, and other commodities are susceptible to market swings.
Consumer Demand Shifts: High demand can increase labor and material prices; low demand may extend project timelines.
EFC is not liable for cost overruns, material price spikes, or labor shortages. The final construction cost is the sole responsibility of the client and their licensed General Contractor.
2. Licensing Disclosure
EFC is not a licensed General Contractor (GC), Electrician, Plumber, or HVAC contractor. We are a specialty consulting and installation firm.
What we do: We provide professional construction estimating services and the installation of non-structural, cosmetic surfaces (Tile, Marble, Vinyl, Wood).
What we DON’T do: We do not pull building permits, move load-bearing walls, or touch mechanical systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
All permitted work is referred to our partner licensed GCs. Any client who hires EFC for a “Full Renovation” acknowledges that EFC’s role is limited to consulting and cosmetic installation, and all permitted work must be contracted directly with a licensed professional.
3. Understanding Our Estimates
Our estimates are prepared using the latest industry standards, advanced estimation software, and current market data. Despite our rigorous methodology, external factors can introduce variances beyond our control. We recommend maintaining flexibility in your budget and planning processes to accommodate potential changes.
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the accuracy of our estimates, we require detailed project information from our clients, including architectural drawings, material specifications, project timelines, and any other relevant details. Timely communication and transparency are crucial for providing precise cost estimates.
5. No Professional Liability for Third-Party Work
EFC maintains an extensive database of construction professionals and may refer or connect clients with licensed contractors as a courtesy. However, EFC is not responsible for the workmanship, delays, scheduling, or legal compliance of any third-party contractors — even those we may refer or estimate for. If a General Contractor we connect you with fails to perform, your legal recourse is with that licensed entity, not with EFC.
6. Limitation of Damages
In no event shall EFC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to lost profits, loss of home value, or project delays) arising out of our estimates, consulting services, or installations. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid to EFC for the specific service in question.
7. Accuracy of Site Content & Case Studies
The “Case Studies,” project photos, and portfolio content on this website represent past work performed by EFC as a specialty subcontractor or consultant. These images are for portfolio purposes only and do not imply that EFC acted as the Prime Licensed Contractor for the entire project scope shown. All content on this website is provided “as-is” for informational purposes.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Estimate Florida Consulting, LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any materials without prior written consent is prohibited.
9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Any disputes arising out of or relating to services provided by EFC shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before pursuing mediation or arbitration in Palm Beach County, Florida.
10. Continuous Monitoring & Estimate Updates
We advise regular monitoring and reassessment of project costs throughout the construction phase. Our team is available to assist with ongoing cost management and to provide updated estimates as necessary. This proactive approach helps mitigate risks and manage budgetary concerns effectively.
